From Athens-Good Cheer to All

Good Morning All,

I am working hard to put this season behind me and move on

But knowing no matter how I try the unmistakable feeling of disappointment and frustration remains.

There is comfort that these feelings are shared by many here

I am not suggesting that we need to accept what is or stop voicing our concerns. Yes that includes coaching changes.

However I don’t want to lose the feelings that I have watching the Dawg walk before a game

Or the how I choke up hearing the lone trumpet player playing the Battle Hymn of the Republic from the upper corner of the south side of the stadium before kickoff –chills down to my toes

Let’s not forget the chapel bell ringing

I can’t enter Sanford and see those railroad tracks and not think about how it was back in the day

No matter how pissed I may get at our wanna be coaches and fogged university administration the players will always have my support and encouragement

wLayton - I will be well rested by New Year’s Eve and ready to shuck corn on New Year’s Day- Yup still mad as hell you bet

OK -Now let’s focus on being jolly shall we?

Christmas is where the promise is made, and is kept on Easter remember the reason for the season

Christmas is family and friends

Yes Christmas is a time for feasting

Have to say this . . . . would not hurt for our coaching staff to read this post that you have presented.

If they "really" knew just how deep our feelings are for the Red and Black, maybe they would understand more of the criticisms that are being tossed their way. Not going into a tirade here, have a thread for that.

Thanks yd1....for this weekend, I have an eggnog for you, with a lot of cinnamon in it.

Yes, we are all blessed....yes God is good....yes, next Wed is what it is all about, our Savior was born.....love UGA Dawgs football but seems pretty insignificant in the big picture, huh my friends.
