Speaking about Mack Brown . . . .
*************
• In New York, before he resigned, Mack Brown seemed in a reflective mood at lunch. You would not have known he was about to make a decision about moving on to the next phase in his life. He did note that he had six years left on his contract, which means that he was owed $30,000,000. My guess is that he got a handsome settlement and preferred not to be fired since he is president of the American Football Coaches Association. How long ago was it that coaches worked for a lot less and nobody had more than a one-year contract, as do the rest of university employees? What will Mack Brown do? My best guess is that he will become a television analyst. He would be a natural in the booth.

This is what college football has come to. I Believe in free enterprise, have always practiced same. This statement is often made by many . . . .
Follow the money . . . .
Maybe we get an indoor facility in Athens, know what I mean, use some of the "fans" coins that are holed up to "coin"tinue building the program.
Getting close to recruits signing with the college of their choice. Will be interesting to see how we fare as compared to some others.
Wishing ALL a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year . . . .
