Good Morning All,

What this college football season has shown again IMO what luck
has in winning or losing in sports

Been said that you make your own luck in life and sports

That is true to a point but…….. When it comes to preparation and removing any room for mistakes one of the best is CNS

We know how that worked out with Auburn this year?

Seems that the lucky high school coaches team did in the Tide and their resourceful head coach

Auburn had 3 wins in the last 30 seconds of the game what’s that 25% for the season is that normal?

We had our lucky moments this season also but they were outnumbered by the unlucky ones. True it is all part of the game

This is not a suggestion that being lucky replaces good coaches, however a small amount of four leaf clovers stashed away to be used at critical times doesn’t hurt

I have been guilty of linking our football program to the movie “Ground Hog Day”

We keep doing the same things over and over only to wake up and start the dream/nightmare over again

Maybe I had the wrong movie seems we have moved closer to “Dumb & Dumber”

Playing the Huskers again is logical Spock says it is where we started this weird season.

As wlayton has said- tired and frustrated - I am good with that.

Decking the halls this weekend

Pause and give thanks

Much to be thankful for

Have a great weekend and a safe week

As always “Go Dawgs”

Go Dawgs!

Thanks yd1 as usual....you deserve the cool one I have in the frig for you.....only problem for you is that I'll be the one drinking it. :woohoo:

What's the old saying?...."the harder we work, the luckier we get"....seems the players are willing to do the hard work and are ready to prepare that is evidenced by the way they compete and never quit.

Hmmmm......harder we work....maybe "all" involved don't adhere to the same philosophy?? Or maybe the "all" do work hard but the light isn't on??

Still "tired and frustrated"....have a great weekend everyone. :)
