Dawgs 2014?………where..Where...WH…WHE...WHER….WHERE! do we go from HERE?…..Don't know….YOU (all) tell me?………2014 we're still SEC East and like ALL others, the "let's beat each other up" still exists!…..and always will!….Playoffs sound good, BUT it's the ONLY way the National media can get the SEC vs.SEC Championship to NEVER, and I repeat NEVER happen again…….I say in 2014 we BARK,GROWL, and BITE!!….not howl!…and whale!…..(spell "whale" right?….anyway, we play or GO HOME, and STAY HOME!……NOOOOOO, we PLAY…and PLAY hard!!…..

Looking back came across this thread started by drummerman11.

2014 football is just around the corner drummerman11. Might be that there will be a return of the BARK, GROWL and BITE!! Seems to be the message Athens wants us to sink our teeth into.

Many on this board and others have been asking for a return of football between the Hedges. "Both sides" . . . . same year. Lesson never learned in 13 going on 14 years. Maybe Pruitt and the Alabama Gang will bring the spirit to Athens that your post suggests. Here is hoping that happens.

Not just 2014, build on the depth . . . . . yes, just like Nick Saban has done and continues to do. Makes for winning football. Not just one year. Each and every year. Several teams around the country are focused on doing just that. Four (4) spots in 2014. Anyone believe that would have happened or coming close to that happening with last years (2013) defensive coaches remaining?

Have not said this in some time, but will now. Young men, time for you to play your part in college football. Be just as damn cool as you think you are, folks that foot the bills, both in college and the NFL understand your age, but at some point, you are expected to drop the BS and reward "yourself" with either a "degree" or a shot at the "League". Time moves quickly. Remember this young pups, there are players younger than you that want your position. I said that.

yd1, there comes a time when "all" have to be held accountable. BullDawg2010 hit it in another thread in my opinion.

The time has come for those at the "top" to show that they "belong" there. In my life, have watched too many reach the top and shuffle the cards in their direction.

At what point do I, talking about Buc, accept the same message that has not changed since 1980. I challenge anyone and everyone to look at every year since the last (2nd) National Championship and show me where anything has changed from that point.

You believe in the "five yard BS", why not just win without the five yards? Take that garbage to the AJC, they love the three thousand hits that keep that POS alive.

Ever hear Nick Saban make an excuse about five yards? We get what 3 or so million dollars will give us.
