From Athens-Game Day Friday #12

Good Morning All,
Hard to believe it is game 12 already. Truth! time goes faster the older you get!

I sitting here on Thanksgiving night after watching MS get a nice win over GB. CD made several nice catches good on him for sticking it out and making it with Detroit. Understand MS had his hand in that ,Dawgs sticking together.

Been thinking about all the chatter voiced here about our collective frustrations with our football program. Self included.

I gather after several years on this board that besides sharing our love for our Bulldog’s that each of us have enjoyed a measure of success in our business lives.

One of the prices of success IMO is having to deal with failure/setbacks which is just part of the learning experience

We learn and grow trying not to repeat those same mistakes

During this process as we age we become less tolerant of compliance acts that cause errors

Co-workers or family matters not, if the same people make the same mistakes well let’s say our BP gets adjusted upward

This transforms into massive amounts of frustration fueled by the knowledge that given the opportunity we have the ability to correct said problems.

We may have a variety of ideas on what needs to be changed when it comes to improving our football program

But the one common denominator is doing nothing is not acceptable

Pointing to the lack of a ST Coach is but one example how doing nothing has cost us ballgames over several seasons

Same people making the same mistakes causing the same results

No better example of our collective frustration

MR at times seems to have stone between his ears, times change

There was a day when vinyl records and 8 track recordings were high tech

Thanks for enduring my rant

Good post yd1. I am visiting in Valdosta until tomorrow and will not be back on until after I get home about an hour before game time.

If some one wants to start the game day thread for me tomorrow feel free to do so.

Hope HM holds us together against Tech. and starts his career as the new UGA starting QB off with an important win and wins this one for Aaron.

Great, great post yd1......yeah, just got rid of my eight tracks 2 years ago...

Believe there will be some major changes before spring.

Expect HM to play really well.....Bobo will utilize the weapons around him and not have to rely on him to win the game for us. Maybe, just maybe CTG will call a good D game............................naaaa forget I said that.......but maybe the D will play good enough to win.

I'll take THAT.
