sflanagan21, here is what I hope comes of this. Best man wins, others prepared to help. Lots of hype when recruiting these young men, now the rubber meets the road.

Quarterback should not be an area that our recruiting efforts will continue to be used. Time to get real serious about the offensive line really protecting the quarterback. Say it again, play starts with the offensive line.

Quotes over the years coming from the offensive coaching group . . . . never know when a quarterback or running back will go down. Coaches ever look at the injuries on the offensive line? Over several years?

Case in point. Bothersome thing about Trinton starting as a freshman . . . . where was the depth that should have been there? Folks might get tired of "beating a dead horse", one thing for sure, someone or some folks in Athens continue to keep their heads where they should not be. Just recalling facts to support common sense reasoning.

I agree 100% Buc!!!! Games are won and lost in the trenches, always been like that and it always will be!!! The games we lost this year look at how our O line played...

We are QB, TB and WR recruiting heavy that's for sure. Look no farther than Saban and you will see why he is very sucessful, studs and depth on both lines, especially his O line!

Buc, at age 50 I am old enough to remember waiting on the paper, and tearing right through the sports section. Long before the interwebs.... long before specialized fantasy sports publications gave me every stat known to mankind.... Long before every game was available on cable TV.

For a rag like the AJC (and it was a rag back then ad well),... lucky to have Furman Bisher.

Television began killing the sports section, and sports journalism. The internet came and stomped it just about dead. Even some of the old journalists have turned to the new media, and everything now comes in small bites, digestable by the demographic with the 90 second attention span.

I'm thankful.. for the memory of sports journalism, and editorials by someone a bit deeper than Chris Berman.

I'm also thankful I'm a Dawg and not a gnat!

Wartdawg, another very impressive post sir. :)

Some of these rivalries are showing a lot of emotion. Expect no less from our game.

Hoping that our defensive coordinator can make me shut my trap. (For a while, anyway). ;)

As you have said from the beginning, no excuses.
