What is going on down my way is not good for Muschamp. Most heat I have ever seen thrown in Foley's direction. Many are blaming Pease, but he just recently joined the staff. Charlie Weis and others were calling the plays prior to Pease.

Muschamp has backed himself into a corner it appears. Came to Florida and started trying to build the greatest defense in the nation. Problem? As I understand it . . . . players have not bought in. Not a good sign for the future of the gators or Muschamp.

Often many say (including me) hate to see folks lose their job. World would be a better place if jobs were assigned to performance. Washington, D.C. should apply the same practices of "hiring and firing" that many successful football coaches do. That however does not apply to Will Muschamp. Muschamp took the job and told the world what he was going to do. Beat the University of Georgia up without a second thought, he had the formula.

Could say much more, will just say this . . . . Will Muschamp you have been beaten by Mark Richt three years in a row. Not Nick Saban, Mark Richt. Think Greyhound or Trailways have a midnight bus leaving Gaineville, Florida, room for one more.

TampaDawg, going to a gathering this afternoon, will hear all sorts of things. Way I look at it, gators brought this on themselves. Muschamp saying the things he has about Georgia, won't leave my mind. Not sure he will ever be a head coach again. Maybe he can go to Ohio State and coach Urban "Liar" Meyer's defense. Not going to be surprised to see Muschamp in the Lone Star State again. Brown would welcome him with open arms. If that happened, wonder if Brown would offer him the "head coach in waiting" . . . .not. Brown is also a short timer. Hindsight is a useful tool sometimes, however if Muschamp had remained in Austin, conceivably would be head coach now.

Just thinking out loud again.
