Rdawg, I think if you look far enough back you will notice who really brought this issue to this board.
Mentioned to wlayton before the 2013 season started the subject on S&C. Very little response in that thread. Earlier, year or two earlier it was mentioned, don't remember seeing a lot of names at that time involved in the discussion.
The article is very interesting. Young man is speaking as a professional, not a first timer trying to make a name for himself. Goes through the procedures step by step and gives one a cause to stop and think.
I have always been pro yoga and muscle stretching before, during and after any sport. That applies to basketball, baseball, soccer, swimming, goes on and on.
University of Alabama has used yoga of different forms since Saban took over. He is a master of football and all of the intracacies involved with body functions.
If this is a shot at Mark Richt, cannot argue that point. He brought a group of folks with him that were not prepared to compete with the likes of Saban and other coaches in the SEC. Once Saban arrived, all rules concerning S&C changed right then.
Tereshinski family does have a history with the University of Georgia, watched that play out when Tereshinski was named starting quarterback. Not to be confused with Tereshinski S&C Director.
If anyone takes the time to look long and hard at Mark Richt's hires during his time on campus, there are many flaws. Flaws that have not been corrected as the article you produce points out very well.
Not a happier soul on this board than myself and mentioned him several times in threads and posts. When Sherman came on board, I thought Mark Richt or someone in the chain had finally wiped the sleep out of their eyes.
Hope everyone on this board reads the article.
