Is CMR a top 10 HC?

Ok, nobody took the bait and with all the love and bashing going on, let's see where people think CMR stands in the country's coaching circles.

I've already commented that I feel he is in the top 10 best HC's in the country.

Bringing this up simply because if you don't think so, who would/CAN you get to replace him that would be BETTER?....and WHY they would be better.

Proven or unproven....

I would rank him under saban, meyer, miles, and spurrier. Yes I said Meyer is a better coach even though I think he is a slimed bas-youknowwhat. Richt is a good coach, not great but there aren't that meant "great" coaches that are actively coaching.

I've already stated in another thread the only coach I would replace him with at this point in time would be saban, he is a proven winner no matter where he is. However, seeing as how saban will never be our head coach I'm not sure who I would replace him with.

I have a feeling this will probably just turn into the "back and forth" debate with both sides trying to convince the other why they are right. Therefore, I will answer the topic, then I'm out. Will not respond to any bait as to why I'm wrong or you're right, we've done all that before.

So I say, no, I don't believe he is in the top 10. I think he's done less with more than a lot of coaches. Top 25, maybe, but that's it.
My top 3 choices would be, in order,
Kirby Smart, yes, unproven, but I think he is going to shine somewhere, and I think this is where he wants to be
Chris Peterson, while I think Richt has done less with more, I think Peterson has done more with less than any coach
Gary Patterson, same reasoning as Peterson

Well, I'd only need 3, because I agree with BD2010's 4 that he listed as well.
