Clemson Gameday thread

Thread to discuss the game. Can we all try to keep it here so I don't have to thread hop.

I will say this. It is time for CMR to make a statement. I have said for a number of years that CMR will not be the one lead us to the Land of the Crystal Football. This year with the load of talent that is on both sides of the ball he has the best chance he has ever had to win THE National Championship. I hope CMR makes me eat my words with a side of crow which I would be most happy to do with a BIG smile on my face.

Talent wise, best group of young men that I have seen assembled in a long time. They believe in themselves, believe in their coaches. Buc has no doubt that tonight the hard work these puppies put in over the summer and fall camp will pay dividends.

Great way to start college football. ACC wants to go back to back with wins over the SEC. Well, tonight it is not only Georgia/Clemson, it is SEC VS ACC, and the rest of college football for the most part pulling for a SEC defeat.

This group of young players has a lot on their shoulders.

Folks get ready for the "know it all TALKING HEADS". . . .

I want to see B.Douglas play TG3 and KM4 have been giving him alot of praise and nicknames.

No injuriies and the team play with pride and heart!!!

Buc I have seen and as you have stated many times over the spring and summer that the ATTITUDE of the coaching staff has changed and it has rubbed off on the players. This team is one of the best talent wise to come along in many years. I think AD Mac has put his stamp on the whole athletic department and it is showing.

It is also good to see and play an old rivalry opponent like Clemson. Reminds me of days gone by when we played them the gaytors, Aubuurn and Techies every year and WON most of those games.

I have a good feeling about this game and about the year as a whole.

We've all talked about the offense and defense and come to the consensus that the O is loaded and there are questions about the D secondary.

I haven't heard much chatter anywhere about special teams. This game may very well come down to which ST unit performs the best. Last year our ST didn't perform as well as it should IMO. Does anyone know where we stand on our ST.

Anyway, jumping in the shower, putting on my battle gear and heading to the tailgate spot. It's going to a LOOOONNNGGG day. Wish this game was in Athens.

DWS, not sure, last lineup I saw, Douglas was wounded. Really don't know, just the last thingy I read about the lineup. You are pretty thorough with your posts, give me some information. I would love to see Douglas in action. My thinking was J.J. Green would be #3 this game behind 3 and 4. Help me out DWS.
