Wasn't Billy Bennett a soccer player that walked on or was asked to try out?.....he turned out pretty well.

wlayton, being as both of us reside in Florida, which of course means we know gators, associate with some, cull others, thought I would throw this article from FOX in. Did not want to start another thread. Reminds me of the Alabama/Tennessee quarrel in the recent past. That feud continues still.

Good friend of mine is deeply involved with FOX Sports in Florida. South and West Coast for the most part. His parents live close so we have opportunities to talk about the happenings in our state.

Most here know how I feel about Urban Meyer, and when I get a chance, which is often, (He is not the brightest bulb on the tree) I put it out there for others to see.

Funny how FOX brought the following information forward, while ESPN (Mickey and Minnie) again did not find this piece on Meyer worthy of air time. Truly, this guy as I have said before has one thing on his mind, beating Saban.

News flash, would not be surprised to see Ohio State playing for the National Championship. All we have to do is look at their foes. If Ohio State goes undefeated, and they should, strength of schedule will not matter. Votes will fall that way.

Urban Meyer as I have stated before is a part of the ESPN "Brotherhood" and that Disney run outfit is without a doubt taking over sports in America. Takeover will soon be felt in the pockets of Georgia and SEC supporters. Bank on it.

Personally feel that Slive gave the keys to the SEC gate to Disney. Said before, my opinion. Maybe I am just old and "crotchety" but my brain still works and my eyes and ears at this point do not deceive me.
