Gurley or Murray

Who has the best chance of winning the Heisman?
I have to go with Gurley.

I think Murray has a better chance. He will put up big numbers this year and if he shows that he still has wheels that's always a plus on the highlight reels. Not to short change Gurley because he is all that also. We will need the O-line to play well to be able to give them a shot.

I'd have to say Gurley, just because the folks that vote will take the years past where Murray got a little bad press into account.

Look at it like this...

Murray threw for almost 4000 yards last year... 36 TD's.. Had an elite program 10 yards away from beating
the National champs.

Look at what he has done over his career... stats, stats, and more stats..


..and he's not even a pre-season All American. His inability to get UGA over the hump has led to him not
getting a lot of respect from the Heisman voters from the national media.

If we do get over the hump this year, it's going to be with 2nd year Gurley and Marshall doing great things,
and an improved defense and Murray again won't get the credit he probably deserves. He has been surrounded
by great receivers, and that and UGA's fast paced offense make many think he's what they call a "system
success guy".

He will be overshadowed by some other dual threat guys no matter what he does, in my humble opinion.

Actually think a lot depends on Marshall.

If Marshall plays well, it could diminish Gurley's carries and yardage.
