Future Left Tackle for Georgia

With fewer scholarships to pass on this year, appears as has been reported that the coaching staff at Georgia are looking closer prior to offering. That is in no way a put down on the previous class.

If I am a young man in high school, really want to play in the SEC with a strong football school, of which there are many, comes a time when the position you play or hope to play gets crowded quickly.

Seems to be some chatter about some highly rated talent on the offensive line being close to moving to Athens. Hoping that turns out to be factual, believe we have learned some lessons from those that understand the benefits of having a superior Oline.

Florida is hot and heavy after the young man in the video below according to some that I talk with. Their feelings are understandable.

David Sharpe apparently is going to move to Georgia and play his senior year at Norcross. Try not to read too much into the move, it does however make it easier for Will Friend and others to communicate with David.

Young man has a serious side, as can be seen on the video, also moves really well, looks more and more like a (true) left tackle to me.

Dawg With Style, David Sharpe seems to have that "edge" that is needed to "survive" on the offensive line. AllDawgs5 was a running back in college, he can testify to that I am sure.

Said it several times . . . . After watching our offensive line of 2012 "mature" in a short period of time, how could we not like having Will Friend handling that group. Just a great hire that will show itself more and more as we try to catch up with a few others that have been above us for a while.

Still watching and reading everything I can about Greg Pyke. I believe he is going to be sensational. My opinion.

Edit: Kublanow is going to be a huge part of the "Will Friend Gang". Lots of "nasty". Stay on course Will Friend. :)

Have heard a lot of good things about Pyke. IMHO when we missed on Tunsil, opened the door for some of these other LTs to show their stuff. Pyke can be the one because i am still not sold on Theus. He struggled first part of year and did show improvement. It is tough on a young LT to come in and play at high level it takes against SEC defenses. We will need plenty of help with the start of the season.

After playing Clemson and SC back to back, our line will be tested.

Edit: Oh and love the way Sharpe fires off the line!
