Go Dawgs!
From Athens- Mac was created by yankeedawg1
Good Morning All,
Mac our AD has been in the news almost daily over the past 10 days.
There has been much chatter about SEC-TV Network/ESPN and future year’s football schedules.
This got me to thinking about when Mac first returned to Athens.
In the past I have shared here about how mentoring has played a big part of both my personal and business lives.
IMO it would appear that Mac learned is trade well and gained from his years in Florida and having Foley as a mentor.
Early on I can remember him making a statement about how he was taking some non- football duties away from CMR and let him focus on coaching.
At the time it seemed to me like no big deal.
Now looking back it may have played a bigger role in turning our football program around than it did at that time.
I am not trying to sell that Mac is running a UF mirror program however Mac is too smart to try to reinvent the wheel.
I also know that there are many moving parts that have worked together to bring us where we are today.
Having said that Mac has made a difference, we have talked about having a coaching staff that is in
sync it is good to have that include your AD.
Pause and give thanks
Have a great weekend and a safe week
As always “Go Dawgs”

Morning yankeedawg1
Think you are right, Mac is all "eyes" and "ears". Jeremy Foley demands it. Also believe that most of us agree that the word "change" when referring to Mark Richt has been used more since Mac stepped in and up.
TGIF . . . . know that means a lot to folks that still put that solid work week in. :woohoo:
