Best post in this thread. Could not get it out of my head all day.
LOL at Buc....if the position coach ain't happy then NO ONE should be happy.....Bobo and CMR talking up the play of the OL does nothing but make Friend look bad IMHO

BUMP! There is a time and place for . . . . your thoughts.
IMHO, the single biggest problem we have had at UGA is . . . . coaching. Not all, some.
I want to believe that we are on the right path in that area. Have said so many times recently.
Don't want to see "ego's" get in the way with football between the Hedges.
Clearly looking at the Mike Bobo video, if he was not pissed, he is one heck of an actor. Seems to me that the Offensive Coordinator and the Offensive Line Coach should be on the same page . . . . publicly.
Looking at Tuesday's scrimmage with Theus running with the second unit, appears that Will Friend is also pissed.
Better button it up coaches, lots of folks watching and wondering. Early schedule will say a lot about coaching and players.
Still not sure about AM's return from Oklahoma and practicing with a different quarterback coach. What does that say about our quarterback coach? Not ranting, just asking.
Bobo seemed to think that his quarterbacks were holding on to the ball too long Saturday.
Maybe the three coaches were right. Quarterbacks held the ball too long, offensive line was lazy. Maybe they get this squared away before Clemson and South Carolina.
And . . . . John Taylor is a beast. I said that.
Edit: Know that some on the board don't read every post. This was posted earlier in the thread, thought it might fit here with this post.

ogredawg, watched an interview today with Saban on TV. First words out of his mouth when questioned was . . . . our offensive line is ready. They lost three offensive linemen (3) that will play in the NFL. Saban said that Alabama has 8 or so that can play. Scary. Saban knows where football games are won or lost. Check the SECCG against us in the second half. Awful thought. That was on the defense at that point in the game. Think Grantham and company ridded themselves of the "loose gadjet" passed him along to Abuurn. This group will be different, Mike Bobo found that to be true Saturday past.
At some point, someone in Athens has to understand that you can have superior running backs, but they don't make first downs without an offensive line. Conley/Mitchell do not catch the football without pass protection.
Some don't want to hear this, but . . . . Alabama will probably open the 2013 Season ranked as #1. We know that Clemson is tough, but is Clemson as tough as Texas A&M? Alabama is going on the road and play TAM, we are going on the road and play Clemson.
Time for the leaders in Athens to take a deep breath and move past the questions that myself and others have.
growl hit it pretty close . . . . paraphrasing . . . . get the lead out.
My opinion, we need more folks with the makeup of Grantham and Friend. Thought that Mark Richt had caught on, maybe he has, I certainly hope so, the buck will stop with him. Loads of talent on both sides of the ball in Athens. Comes down to coach'em up.
There is not a doubt in my mind that the offense could run plays that the defense has yet to see. Other side of the coin, defense can run schemes that the offense has not seen in the Spring.
From all that I can gather, the defense is ready to play. I also believe that the offense is incredibly talented, just give Will Friend some room to operate. I said that.
