Auburn, NCAA . . . . Both Have Problems

Auburn back in the news again. Couple of things that cause me serious concern.

Some of us on this board first questioned NCAA President Emmert a long time back.

Emmert comes back to my mind again. I do not understand why it is always, or a large portion of the time that the allegations against a university being reported seem to come from independent reporters.

The NCAA has its enforcement division, which by the way is lead by Emmert. Emmert sits at the top. That division of the NCAA ran into a brick wall with the way they investigated Miami. Total failure at this point, and still many questions concerning Emmert’s leadership need to be answered.

Watched an interview yesterday 4/3/2013, and Emmert was the person being interviewed. It has been a long time since I have seen two-stepping the likes of what Emmert did. This man is totally incompetent when it comes to leading the NCAA. He could very well be the downfall of the NCAA. His strength of position is that his underlings are in step with him. Job security.

This Auburn thing has and will have some serious consequences. Too many accusations over the past few years for me to believe that all is above board on the Plains. Apparently it is going to take an outside reporter to encourage or force Auburn to clean the program up. NCAA and President Emmert do not have a clue. They understand how to build a fire, they are totally incompetent when it comes to putting the fire out.

This Auburn mess did not start this week, it has been going on for sometime. One would think that the NCAA would be a leader on these types of charges.

One thing that I know the NCAA has done . . . . They have kept a Georgia Football Player on the sidelines for 3 years, not able to make a common sense decision on this young players status.

Emmert has to go. My opinion.

The link below brings up Gene Chizik's name. Sacrificial lamb, I think. He however was paid handsomely for his short stint with Auburn. Most are. Money has never been on the short side of what appears to be a driving force or forces to win.

Who among us can believe that all of this gets past the President of the university, the Athletic Director or Head Coach and coaches.

This is a little along the lines of the Rutgers story. The President of the university did not know what was going on with the basketball coach. Have some land for sale in Florida.

Too many times the dummies (Chiziks) foot the TOTAL BLAME. Boys at the top keep rocking along. Smells to the High Heaven.

In my opinion, Gene Chizik was set up.

Had to go off of this board to get a comment. The following link and site seem to be aware.
