29 or 9

If you had to choose own draft day who would you take Jarvis or Ogletree.

I have to go with my man Jarvis his 40 time does not bother me his one of those guys that when it's time to play he is ready but if he did work out like Tree he could get better and I think in the pro's he will.

I would choose Tree. He has a nose for the ball and I like his versitilty.

I would take Tree.

I feel JJ plays with his neck injury on his mind sometimes. If you will notice, you never saw him making a tackle leading with his head.

I would be concerned about JJ's longevity in the league if I was an owner. Tree is going to be a head hunter.....another Ronnie Lott if he moved back to safety?......he'll stay at LB I'm sure but Lott could sure bring it.

wlayton, that is a very good point you make about Tree going back to safety. I still have nightmares about Lott and the hits he put on the Atlanta Falcons back in the day. Was more afraid of Lott than Montana.

My biggest concern with Tree is his maturity level. He is going to see more money than most earn in a lifetime of work. Twin brother will always be at his hip, not sure that is a good thing. Not saying anything that all of us don't know. Wish some way a trust could be or would be set up for #9.

To answer the question, Tree. While 40's supposedly don't matter, I believe in JJ's case it did.

Wish the best for both, they gave me many special moments.

One more thing . . . . JJ had the right defensive coordinator to move his football career forward. My opinion. Same process is going on with JHC.

NFL usually drafts based on need at certain positions or to get that franchise type player. 9 fits the mold more than 29 as the "franchise" type.
