From Athens- Good Friday

Good Morning All,

We have had a strange week of weather. Been cold and wet I am wishing for spring to bust.

Yes Buc I could hear pads popp’n was no pitty pats at practice for sure

I had the opportunity to hookup for coffee with one of my locals and we shared thoughts about what the future holds for our football program. He has contacts within the BM bldg so I did more listening than jawing.

Much has been said about team speed on defense. His comment was not only do we have speed but there are several playing “D” who are“Quick”.

The best way to explain quick I heard was what was said about Ali in his prime.

He could turn off the bedroom wall light switch and be in bed before the room got dark.

I am sure you have seen were RW and RD both have made good strides this week and have the right tude to make this years “D” bring many smiles to Dawg fans.

We were enjoying a second cup when he shifted to offense and spoke as we have here about playing TG & KM at the same time.

He has heard that there are several plays being worked on to make this happen. The one he favors is having KM shifting into a slot receiver just before the ball is snapped. Thus making a nightmare for coverage.

Pause and give thanks- Easter is the promise of Christmas coming to pass.

The video link below, especially the one watching Chris Wilson put the defense through drills makes me a happy camper. Down on his knees between two defensive players . . . . "teaching". Understand more and more why UGA wanted CW on our sideline. Chris Wilson and Wil Friend have the ability and attitude to move our program forward, no doubt.

Some of the earlier interviews were posted in another thread, there are however three new ones that have been added. ogredawg, keep hearing the name Reggie Carter being mentioned.
