From Athens- Next Year Up ! was created by yankeedawg1
Good Morning All,

We are about ready to move on to 2013.

Our bowl game for me does carry a higher level of importance to the program than just another game.

We need to prove to ourselves that the SECCG is the new norm for the Dawg’s when they step on the field to play.

No quit toe to toe SEC football-play to win not just show up and mail it in

Our recruiting is showing us to have made an effort to go after players who can step in and play which leads to building quality depth-a very good thing.

A few more pieces and we stand to have a monster 2013 class coming in.

Right here right now third time is a charm- we not only get back to the SECCG but win it in 2013

Trust me CNS and the Tide know just how big Russ’s bite is.

On to shucking the Huskers- we will light up their secondary –AM passes for three TD’s- and the Boys of the South Go Boom !

First tailgate party of “Lucky 13”

Georgia’s ready for her touchdown treats

Mayor wlayton I have a cold one waiting in the cooler for you

Buc-thanks again for your email

To all a “Happy New Year”

Have a great weekend and a safe week

As always “Go Dawgs”!

Go Dawgs!

yd1.....thanks for the cool one, enjoy it for me and I'll do the same for you....as always!

Hope you are right in that we "finish up" this recruiting class with a couple more "big-uns" signing.

For me, 2013's success will depend largely on AM coming back......Lord I pray he does.

The Dawgs need to show up Tuesday like you said and start off fast.....besides AM lighting them up, I believe Gurshall will go over 200 yards.....

The Dawgs need to show those corn fed boys what "being taken to the woodshed" means.

Happy New Year yd1.....thanks for the 2012 posts and will look forward to your 2013 posts starting next Friday!! (don't feel bad if you want to take a little vacation)

yankeedawg1, sorry it took me so long to get to the "Blue Plate Special". Spent most of the day at the VA. One of the greatest days of my life. Spent a lot of time with two WWII Veterans. One of the "young men" age 88 was in the Army Air Corps in England and the other gentleman was a survivor of Normandy, age 90. Not many of these men and women left that gave so much. One of the WWII men was in a wheel chair, he is the "88" that I referred to. He was cutting up and talking about his age, then found out that the other "true hero" was 90 and one only had to be there to see the eyes of both mist up.

To everyone on this board, I wish each of you and your families a blessed 2013. If you are a football player, coach or alumni, 88 and 90 are the reason that you and your family members enjoy the fruits of 88 and 90's belief in the Red, White and Blue.

Hope that Georgia comes to play, Nebraska will. Point spread scares me a bit. That is thriller's department. Wife and I will be there. Section 109 Seats 7 and 8.

Go Dawgs . . . . :)

Edit: Left out Row O . . . . Section 109, Row O, Seats 7 and 8.

Really like Abry Jones' attitude. Going to try and play, Georgia football could use more like Abry, team player. :)
