This past Saturday was a special day for me. I was blessed to be able to attend the Tech game with 3 of my grandsons and son-in-law all of whom had never been to a SEC game.
Starting with the Dawg Walk and ending with the chapel bell ringing end it was a day of memories.
“Glory Glory to Ole Georgia and to Hell with GA Tech”!!!!!
Music to my old ears.
Walking up Sanford Dr. and then climbing the stairs walking toward the “Arch” to catch the airport parking shuttle it was not lost on me how this team had climbed out of the shadows of Columbia and put themselves into the SECCG on Saturday.
Over the season much has been said here about the coaching staff and had there been any change with them.
I was part of the crowd that after the USC saying we were still stuck in the past.
This wrong opinion was changed in the following games with the efforts of both the players and coaches. As Buc said our coaching staff is a tight group on the same page and results driven.
IMO there has been changes and without question for the better.
Looking at the on field production and how we are not fading in the 4th quarter.
A very good thing
An old mentor of mine spoke to me about how you go about eating an elephant sandwich. He was comparing it to a massive business problem.
One bite at a time
How we beat the “tide” on Saturday!
One play at a time!
Take care of business-don’t fear success
Another opportunity to put some more meaning into these words
“Our Team=Our Time= No Regrets”
This underdog's name is Russ aka UGAIX
"Time to Fear the Ear"
Pause and give thanks
Have a great weekend and a safe week
As always “Go Dawgs’!
Go Dawgs!

5 things the Dawgs MUST do to compete and possibly win tomorrow:
1. The OL must have the game of their life to protect Murray and open holes for our TBs. This may determine a loss or win for us IMO.
2. Win the turnover battle and minimize costly penalties. Particularly excessive celebrations and "avoidable" personal fouls. Rambo? You hear that dude? That means you too.
3. The WRs must eliminate dropped "makeable" passes.
4. The defensive side of special teams must keep UA from making big plays. Creating turnovers would be a pleasant surprise.
5. The coaches and players MUST leave conservatism on the bus.
Take care of these aspects of the game and the rest will take care of itself.
Headed to Atlanta shortly so doubt I'll post anymore until Sunday. I surely hope there will be excitement and chatter on how best to beat Notre Lame.

GOOOOOOO DAWGS SIC'EM!!!!!:woohoo:

I think that 36869 said it best in his thread . . . . we can discuss what is and what is not after the final whistle blows, and we will.
Buc has great faith in this group of Georgia players. Also believe that this group will be flying around and laying licks. Can't ask for more. Is that a statement of Buc giving up, not on your life. I truly believe that we are going to win this game . . . . why NOT?
Say it again . . . . let the players play, keep those flags in your pockets. In my mind this is the National Championship. Notre Dame will find out later that football is played in the SEC.
Georgia Football Team . . . . thank you guys, what you are playing for, you earned. Thanks to all of the players that returned to the Athens Campus after the 2011 Season. Many of us do believe.

Peace brothers. Namaste.
Hope to see you on the other side with a NC shot the next objective.
