Looking favorable for the Arkansas faithful. Appears that Gary Patterson is their choice. Could be there is another great coach in the SEC. Auburn hires Petrino, Westside of SEC is going to be a tough bunch for most universities to play against.

Meanwhile, Bobo will be given a contract extension for his efforts in leading the offense of the team that won back to back SEC Eastern Division titles.

Kentdaddy, My source says that Kirby Smart is the one to cure the Vols ills. Hate that cause I think he will do one hellof a job. The east is getting tougher with these ex Georgia players becoming head coaches.

Realize the name of the thread is Coaching Changes, but thought the following article shows just how quickly Coaches and Players can make a difference in recruiting.

Who would have thought that JaQuay Williams would be entertaining the thought of Texas A&M. TAM now in the SEC, exciting quarterback and a coach that is a recruiting specialist, much like Mark Richt, are shining examples of what can happen to a football program.

Try not to get too involved with young players playing the "media game", did however find this article in the AJC to be interesting.

As far as Auburn's problems, this article points out how administration can cause problems with football factories. Not that long ago when Auburn thought they would never lose another game. Cam's and Johnny Football's don't come along that often. I find TAM to be very interesting at this point, as do most folks watching college football.

Edit: Have a look at this . . . . far reaching effects of the game played in Tuscaloosa. Going to see a lot more of this in the near future. TAM, damn good addition to the SEC. Every SEC teams game is going to have to pick up. Good for the conference. SEC teams will catch up with the TAM system, nature of the beast, and the SEC is a Beast Conference.
