Going into this season I thought there were a few games that we could possibly lose. Missouri, South Carolina, and Florida the ones I was most concerned over. OK we did got past Missou, looked bad against TN, and did not show up against SC and got our butts handed to us. This, like I said I kind of expected. Didn't want it to happen, but it did. Not the end of the world.
Now my rant. We have some ignorant, ill-mannered and fair weather fans. To egg and toilet paper a players residence after losing to a team that out played UGA in every aspect of the game is unacceptable. Fans who get that emotionally wrapped up in winning and losing disgust me. I am a UGA alumnus and love my university with all my heart, but I am irritated with the actions a a few morons. Idiots that don't even know anything about MY university except how to get to Sanford Stadium. If I was a student athlete looking to go to a college, why in the world would I consider going to UGA? Is this the kind of reception they can expect? Don't know if it was fans or students. Doesn't matter. Unacceptable. If it was students, I don't want them to attend my university either. Classless, real classless. My Red & Black blood is boiling right now!
I'm out!
