I love this teams attitude...

I follow a lot of these kids on twitter, and there are a lot of class acts, including MB...

There seems to be a lot of things i like about this team, but mostly how several of them seem to have a genuine relationship with God....

GO DAWGS!!!

I agree. Everyone needs to remember that last year Tavares King and Malcolm Mitchell were the two leading receivers on the team. They are still here. Marlon Brown is contributing like a Grown Man. Wooten is back and contributing. Conley is contributing. Lynch is. Rome is. Scott-Wesley is. And I'm probably forgetting guys.

We have a wealth of talent in the receiving ranks - not that I'm HAPPY about this. But if we were going to have an injury, and in D1 Grown Man football, that's a big risk, a receiver was one of the safest places to have it.

Let's hope South Carolina buys into the media pessimism about this injury - UGA has no chance. USC now HAS to be a MUCH bigger favorite in this game - keep telling yourself that, 'Cocks. Keep telling yourself that.

Edit: The line is now only 1 point.

Just a thought . . .

Who would have thought that we would be talking about the offense getting the job done at this point. There were many things we did not know of course, running backs, receivers etc.

Not just us, the UGA football junkies, but the entire media group had nothing but praises for the defensive unit. Agree there have been circumstances, but it sure appears to me that the offensive side of the ball heard every word said and moved on from there. Good on you guys and your coach.

Sure as heck do not think that South Carolina will shut us out with their vaunted defense. Couple of quick draws might slow their defensive ends down. If not, couple of freshmen backs that love to run for more than 3 yards and a cloud of dust will love entering into the Carolina defensive backfield.

High fives for the offense and their play going into Columbia. You guys have worked hard against what was/is supposed to be a top 5 defense in the country. Maybe this is the game that pays huge dividends for all of the embarrasing work early in the year.

Edit: Good "stuff" thriller. :)

Sure would be exciting to see UGA's Offense AND Defense show up in a big way Saturday night. Like to see the ole ball sack scratchin his head and throwing his visor. Yes sirree that would be real nice. I know this is the same D that we had last year so really can't figure it out.

growl, most of these young men have played football for a long time. There will always be a new wrinkle coming along, but it comes down to talent and talent includes football smart.

I really like what I hear about S&C. Does it take more than one year for all aspects of the newly revised S&C program to pay dividends, we will see. Usually we as spectators are willing to give a new coach or coaches 2, 3 or 4 years to show positive results.

Reason I bring up S&C . . . . thinking about what Mark Richt and Todd Grantham had to say about the 4th quarter finish to cap the win over Tennessee. Both said in pressers that when the needed play arose, our young players stepped up. Like the coaches said, disregard the final score, look at the end result.

I truly believe the changes that were made in the S&C coaching areas paid off in the Tennessee game. Too often credit goes to a certain area . . . great offense . . . great defense . . . What about GREAT S&C. Have not heard that mentioned, too easy to get wrapped up in visual plays, all of us are guilty of that. Each and every member of this football team spent time with S&C, not all spent time with the offense and defense.

Just saying . . . . coach'em up covers more than offensive and defensive plays. Good get Mark Richt on the S&C hires and apparently . . . . 4th quarter results. Been missing for a long time, me thinks.

Keep saying this . . . Huge Game for a lot of reasons. That could and probably will be a discussion down the road.

Go Dawgs . . . . stanger, where you at, need some of what you know and say at this point. :)
