yankeedawg1, looking at this team from top to bottom, that also includes the coaches, we really don't have a lot of room for excuses. Pundits say we are somewhere between 4 and 7 nationally ranked. Not going to get too involved in the ratings game, will say that this team healthly and with a good game plan, would not want to face UGA. There are some teams down the road that are going to put up road blocks, but those teams are not any better or as good from top to bottom as we are.
There is going to be an edge on our team that I don't think we have seen so far this season. I do believe we played Missouri and respected their game and the situation that we were facing. We heard so much about Franklin at quarterback, was cause for concern. Offensively Franklin did not stand a chance from the opening snap, credentials don't play football games. Have heard some squealing from outsiders saying that we were not all that in Columbia. I am pretty sure that I saw the beginnings of what is in store for Vanderbilt tomorrow between the Hedges, and it is a far cry from what we witnessed in Nashville last season.
Richt and Grantham have skillfully dodged the hype that some of the media folks were hoping for. Another sign of growth on this coaching staff. Here is hoping that some of the bumps and bruises we have had along the offensive line have healed or are close to being 100%. Think that this offensive line group is going to put some smiles on our faces before the game is over. Really good feeling about Will Friend and his teaching methods. He appears to be on board with the "next man up" theory that has caught fire on the defensive side.
All over except the shouting yankeedawg1. Thanks for the special. High fives again to "Georgia".
One more thing . . . Spent a couple of days at my VA this week . . . got to see and talk with some brave folks that love this country, and should not say this, but . . . . . to hell with Egypt, Syria, Libya and the rest of those that would do us harm and kill our Ambassador and Navy Seals. Not liking what I am seeing from many bleeding heart liberals at this point. These are the types that need to spend a day or ONE HOUR at any Veterans Administration facility, then take their safe, secure asses back to their their recording studios and say the things that really degrade these young and old folks. I am not sorry for saying this, those folks make me want to puke.
Go Dawgs . . . . coach'em up . . .
