ESPN article on UGA walk-on Jack Loonam

A SC UGA Bulldog Club member sent this to me. Great story of a kid who "gets it". While reading the article, I asked myself the question. Why is it the players who are not 4 & 5 star highly recruited athletes, the guys who probably won't see the field, the ones who walk-on, the one who love the game, that have the dedication.

I hope to see Loonam on the field just once. He knows the pride of wearing the G on his uniform. I bet it is because of the other uniform he wears. Just a hunch.

TN Dawg, wow!

Somehow one can feel Mark Richt's hands all over this.

There are many that serve our country that have the same backbone and get it done attitude as Jack Loonam.

Thanks for this post, maybe more than you know.

Good on you Jack Loonam. :)

TN D......the young man was "raised properly" unlike many kids in homes today. Smart, driven and can see the "big picture".
