Some of you might have read what is posted below. Found it to be a bit light hearted and in some instances very close to the truth, maybe most of the time it expresses our true feelings. Think that I have expressed some of the same, as maybe some others on this board. . . . . :)

College football coaches are the men who can spoil eight months of anticipation in only three or four hours on an autumn Saturday.

Alabama fans have an asterisk next to Gene Chizik's championship.

They're the men who college football fans fear will derail their team's season, and they're the CEOs who have ripped opposing fans' hearts out, both when they were supposed to and when they weren't.

While players come and go, coaches are the men who provoke fear from opponents while they cast their long shadows from the opposite sidelines. This week, ESPN.com celebrates the men who've provoked, infuriated and depressed fan bases across the country -- the coaches we love to hate.

We hate them for winning and losing.

We hate them for lying and cheating.

College football fans hate the coaches who beat their favorite teams the most, and sometimes they hate their own coaches for not winning enough.

We hate when our coaches call for a draw on third-and-long, and yet we hate when they call an onside kick (but only when it fails).

Every college football fan needs somebody to root against, and there are few programs that don't have one or more adversaries:

Alabama fans hate Auburn's Gene Chizik because they think he cheated to win a national championship.

Michigan fans hate former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel because he always won -- and they know he cheated.

Pittsburgh fans hate Arizona State's Todd Graham for leaving.

Some Tennessee fans hate Derek Dooley because he won't leave.

Maryland fans hate Randy Edsall for the way his tenure started.

Florida fans hate Urban Meyer for the way his tenure ended.

Greg Robinson's tenures at Michigan and Syracuse didn't leave fans wanting more.
Tennessee fans hate that they have to acknowledge that Lane Kiffin can coach.

Nebraska fans hate the way Bo Pelini screams at his players.

Georgia fans hate that Mark Richt rarely raises his voice at his players.

Everybody but Alabama fans hates the way Nick Saban oversigns.

Texas fans hate that Mack Brown undersigns quarterbacks.

Minnesota fans hate Bret Bielema for running it up.

Oregon State fans hate that Mike Riley's teams forgot how to run it.

South Carolina's Steve Spurrier is hated for winning and then rubbing it in.

Les Miles is hated because he beats you when he doesn't look smart enough to win.

Arkansas fans hate the fact that a motorcycle wreck cost Bobby Petrino his job.

Ole Miss fans hate the fact that Petrino's wreck didn't happen in November.

Oklahoma State fans hate Iowa State's Paul Rhoads for spoiling their season.

New Mexico fans hate Mike Locksley for destroying their program.

SEC fans hate James Franklin for running his mouth.

SEC coaches hate James Franklin because they have to worry about Vanderbilt.

Clemson fans hate Dana Holgorsen for putting up 70.

Clemson fans hate Dabo Swinney for giving up 70.

Charlie Weis' "schematic advantage" didn't win over a lot of fans.
Michigan fans hate Rich Rodriguez for hiring Greg Robinson.

Syracuse fans hate Greg Robinson for, well, being Greg Robinson.

Notre Dame fans hate Charlie Weis' arrogance.

Non-Notre Dame fans hate Brian Kelly's arrogance.

Wake Forest's opponents hate Jim Grobe for beating them with less.

Florida State fans hate Jimbo Fisher for losing to Wake Forest with more.

USC fans hate Steve Sarkisian for stealing their coaches.

Washington fans hate that Sarkisian hired them.

Why do we hate college football coaches?

Because for the most part, they're really good at what they do.

College football coaches -- the men we love to hate, but only when they beat us.

Edit: Picked this up from ESPN.

Really did not want to start another thread. Had a couple of thoughts, and as always, still have a lot to say. Love Athens, have always been a serious booster of UGA Football, as well as all that participate in our program, and that means all of you. :)

Hard for me to believe sometimes that a board like this, especially when I know that those that post here are head and shoulders above every board that I "peek" at don't have more to say without grabbing a link from somewhere. Yep, I know, I do that. Time to move on.

So we have our existing offensive line, lots of bodies, and we have more on the way. It has been said before, but saying it one more time will not upset the apple cart. Makes this UGA supporter very happy that some changes are being made in our recruiting efforts, particularly in the areas that “I” think they should be made.

Many times this has been said on this board . . . . . Why is it that we always seem to have running backs but don’t recognize the fact that running backs need openings to gain yardage?

Don’t know if this a head coaching problem or an offensive coordinator problem, truthfully not sure as I type this. One thing that I do need to know, with the incoming players, do we get better in a year or two. We supposedly have "some" of the best backs in the country, what is needed to set these guys "free". You and I know the answer to that . . . . right. ;)

What I have seen since our losing season, last game being the UCF debacle and the winning season following the debacle, appears that something has happened on the Athens campus. Now it appears that the offensive side is beginning to build strength in the front wall, much like what has happened to the defensive side. By that I mean, (WM did not understand Defense). He came to our campus without the credentials needed to be the Defensive Coordinator. Could it possibly be that some of the recruiting efforts on the D side have made an impression on the O side? None of us are so good at what we do to announce to the world that we are Imperial or "all that". Martinez would not bow to that, and he found out quickly at Oklahoma that not only did he not understand "cover two" he made too much money for someone that did not have a clue. That is one of the reasons that we (UGA) will go to the Plains and eat him alive. Probably will be one of the best passing days of AM's college career. That will happen "if" our offensive coaches turn AM loose. You folks can call me up later if the last statement does not come true. Richt/Bobo need to establish the fact that BVG/Martinez have stepped into a world that both of these coaches cannot make a mark in. I have no doubts that the Defense will play their hearts out, time for Richt/Bobo to allow the Dawgs on the offensive side to put as many points on the board as they can. I make the last statement pointed at Mark Richt, time to get ugly, don't think for a minute that Chizik does not remember last year in Athens, that is one of the reasons that he hired BVG . . . . . needs some help. Kick their butts. AM and the gang have more this season than we had last season, be smart AM, use your talent. Remind him of that Mike Bobo, that is what you can and should do.

I do believe that Grantham has made a huge impression on the way football is being played in Athens. He is not the head coach, and as some have said, maybe it was not his time. One thing that I learned in my earlier years, sometimes it does not take a lot of arm wrestling when you can get all hands on deck and pulling in the same direction.

Correct me if I am wrong. We are very deep on the Defensive side of the ball, not talking about suspensions, talking about young men that are football players. I would not be honest if I did not say that Mark Richt was right in his reasoning regarding suspensions. Richt has to abide by the rules, maybe the rules should apply to every University in the SEC. Not my problem, I am a Dawg and I like what I see going on in the Classic City, feel like I have been reborn, have floated for too many years . . . . wishing. Erk, you have been replaced,(very hard to say) those that know appreciate YOUR REPLACEMENT. Took a while, several coaching changes, do believe that McGarity and Richt got it right.

So, where do we (UGA) you and I go from here?

Buc hopes that we find some common ground, by that I mean the coaches. It all comes down to who and where we recruit and our reasoning for the decisions that we make. I have a problem when I see the number one and two rated players in the country spending most of their time in the State of Georgia playing football and do not like the fact that they are committed to Alabama. That comes down to leadership. I do believe that we are making in-roads, but in-roads come with doing what Saban/Smart are doing on the other side of the Chattahoochee.

I do believe that we are a top ten team, would also be hard pressed to believe that we are a top five team. We are very good, but I have yet to see us kick some butt, by that I mean Steve Spurrier, also mean winning back to back against Florida. If anyone on this board believes that Florida is not ready to play football in JAX in 2012, I think that you are not up to discussing SEC Football. That is not a shot at anyone. This Florida football team is a seriously good defensive football team. Offense will have to work hard to become the East Champs. Here is where I am at with Muschamp versus Grantham. UGA's defense will eat the Florida team alive, Richt/Bobo have to change some things. That last statement comes from folks that I associate with and understand football in Florida and the SEC.

This is a very good football team with a lot of promise. All of these young men have been singled out to wear the Red and Black. The same coaches that recruited these young players owe it not only to the players, they owe it to us and most of all to themselves. They can get a good education if that is their wish. Some will have a “serious” chance to move to the NFL. We have heard every story that can be told, whether it be injuries or whatever, now is the time and place, schedule and talent wise. I can only speak for the way that I feel about this team . . . . don't give a hoot if you play for Saban or anyone else. Grantham understands the "game" no one at this point in my mind is better than Todd Grantham when it comes to moving to the next level. Grantham does one thing to make the money that he makes . . . . teaching young men to MAKE MORE MONEY THAN UGA WANTS TO PAY HIM. That is not meant to be ugly. This is the first Defensive Coach that I have faith in since Erk was . . . . . railroaded. Sorry, sometimes the TRUTH hurts. Cannot tell all of you how good I feel watching this group play for the Red and Black. One step in the right direction makes up for what I have witnessed over many years of "guessing". This is the SEC, let's not put up with LSU and Alabama and . . . . Florida moving us to a second class team. Again . . . we have the talent, time for us as a SEC Team to move in the direction of RESPECT.

Was not going to say this, would not be right if I did not. This is a schedule (2012) that should produce a serious chance at going undefeated. Will never have a better schedule than this one. I do know that the football has an odd shape and it can bounce in a funny direction. Although it might not be funny to us if the bounce goes the other way, that I can accept.

Have said this many times and in my heart and soul I believe this. Go Dawgs, Coach’em Up! So much talent, find the right way to keep talent in Athens. To do this it requires what Saban/Smart have done in Tuscaloosa . . . Win.

This old fart knows and understands that none of you are any different than the rest of us. When those cleats hit the turf between the Hedges, think about more than youself, over 90,000 of us in Sanford Stadium are with you win or lose. Just wear the "COLORS" with pride, respect tradition and move on from there. Each and everyone of you belong to "us".

Go Dawgs . . . Coach'em Up! Proud to be a part of the Red and Black. For damn sure. . . .:)
