Really like the fact that UGA is out and about with our recruiting efforts early on. I believe that it has made a difference recently and think that trend will continue.
As some articles have stated, many of the early commits have a strong influence on a lot of the fellows looking to play college football. Also helps in my opinion when some of the early recruits are rated high in the star category. For example, if I am a 4 or 5 star recruit and I am either on Face Book or Twitter or phone for that matter and start pushing for you to join me, gets my attention. What you are saying is I am rated highly and believe you should be here with me, shoulder to shoulder.
Yes, I really like the way our overall recruiting has changed from previous years. Think it has been a learning process that continues to show results. Serious recruiting shows serious results on the football field as we all know and appreciate.
Don’t want to jump to conclusions, however I am beginning to think that our offensive line come September might be better than expected at one point. Build that offensive line Friend and continue to recruit the young men that will learn and step in when their time comes. Folks there were many wars on the field during Spring Ball, come Fall it will intensify. Think much of the offensive line growth came from best offensive line personnel lining up against one of the top defensive lines in the country.
Young Pups, don’t let temptation ruin your chances of playing between the Hedges and for some of you the chance to play in the NFL. Too much is at stake, stop, look and listen. Sitting on the sidelines does not improve ones chances of advancement.
Go Dawgs . . . Coach’em up!!
