Good Morning All,

Slack week here in Athens with not much going on.

No noise coming off campus however I feel there is a bunch of stuff going on that we don’t know about.

While the number of players that signed with us calls for questions, the quality does not.

Going forward this group of signees will pay dividends for years to come.

Looking at our 2012 schedule I don’t see a team that scares me like a BSU did this past season.

I don’t seeing us starting 0-2 again, Mizzuo while being juiced to join the SEC still does not match up with us.

USC is later in the year which I feel will benefit us.

Yes I think we can stop ML.

This is year two for JJ, having Tree back plus the added experience we have with our DL we are good enough to make it happen in Columbia.

We know what CTG thinks of SS. CTG does not want to lose 3 to the visor.

My read is we hold ML under 100 and the defense carries the day.

I am looking forward to spring and having new ground to plow.

It is still good to be a Dawg!

Heads up guys Tuesday is Valentine’s Day cover your butt,

Cards,candy,or flowers…..

Pause and give thanks

Have a great weekend and a safe week

As always “Go Dawgs”

Go Dawgs!

Happy Friday yd1....

Like your thinking and agree that we may be able to slow down Lattimore ONLY because I feel it takes a good year and a half to recover (not one year) and he will still be under 100% of his old self. I'm actually more concerned with Connor Shaw at QB. With our problem at DB depth (other than the safeties), I'm concerned he could "light us up" in the passing dept. He's confident after a great year last year and he's definitely better than Garcia.

Whether 2011 was a big improvement or weak schedule or a combo, I just hope it was a good stepping stone to 2012.....WE WILL SEE and the results may solve the argument. (I think it was a combo....certainly much improvement and certainly a weak schedule).

The next 2 years will provide a lot of answers....imo.

yankeedawg1, been a bit busy elsewhere, but wanted to come over and say hello. Agree with many things that you posted this morning.

It is all going to play out for us this coming season. We seem to have a lot of strength on both sides of the ball. Like every season, you and I can watch, the coaches take care of the business on the field.

One of my thoughts is that we might have some time for the young pups to play a bit more this season, earlier is what I am talking about.

Did notice that the Mat Drills are back, of course we know the reason for that. Appears to me that JTII sees more than strength is needed to get through the fourth quarter. Feel sure the coaches have put their heads together and decided this is the best way to attack that particular area of concern.

Hope all is well within your domain, special Bark for Georgia . . . :)
