Good Morning All,

Sharing some post signing day reflections and other stuff.

CTG has stocked the kennel extremely well with young talent. Fact!

Truly like his thinking we can’t every have to many athletes, we will find a place for them.

Least not forget we have several blue chip recruits from last year that will be competing for playing time this spring on both sides of the line.

Depth building. A very good thing!

Being gassed at the end of the game is something CTG never wants to happen again.

CWF has some quality bodies to work with. Look for CFW to turn heads in his second year as OLC. Good guy, will become a very good coach.

To hell with being the heaviest OL in football.

Let’s get some people that want to block and move the pile forward.

Had coffee with one of my locals and he brought up something he had heard off campus.

The “O” guys don’t want the “D” guys to get all the glory and press this season.

He also made the comment to look for CTG’s-tude to show up when we have the ball.

Not saying that Mizzou will be an easy game but they won’t sneak up on us.

The experience of starting 0-2 last will not happen this year.

We messed our shorts in our last bowl game so without question it will be take no prisoners from the opening kickoff.

Only way to get the taste out of our mouths and to change the conversation, is to win! This team learned that last year and went on a 10 game streak.

It was 1981 the last time that we won that many in a row.

I like us making an early statement.

This years spring game will have some added flair with guys seeking to get PT and sort out the pecking order. Looking forward to it.

Pause and give thanks

Have a safe weekend and a great week.

yd1, we needed a running back. We got two. Isaiah - you can go ride the pines now, and rest that strawberry you got when the big bad defensive guy brushed up against you. It sounds like we might have the hosses to "tote that rock" this year. May the best MAN win. No cryin' in Division 1 college football.

Now, as you say yd1, and as my ol' Marine Corps. Gunnery Sergeant would have said, time for Dr. Discipline to make a house-call. Prove you're a man . . . until then . . . let's go, girls. The O-Line must become THE major force this year. All of college football should be talking about that offensive line. They need to be FEARED.

Seriously though . . . when was the last time . . . honestly now . . . when was the last time we had an O-Line that was truly the object of FEAR? I would have to say the 2007 season. And that "nasty" attitude to go along with it - where is it? Remember Thomas Brown? He spoke softly and carried a can of whoop @$$. That's on tap for this year. Better be.

CMR has the confidence that our O-Line is all that and a bag of chips. He has the confidence that our offensive coordinator is all that and TWO bags of chips. SEC Championship. No second place finishes, because we will NOT be "first loser". Win and win NOW.

Good morning yd1...

Certainly hope the offensive side of the ball can get the swagger of the D guys. I still feel the OL may start the season actually worse than last year's OL and Friend really has his work cut out for himself. Also believe the OL will get much better as the season rolls on.....bottom line......UGA shouldn't BE in this situation year after year. Geez, we may have FIVE quality QB's in Athens in another year....why can't we have the same % depth on the OL and DL every year as well?....Baffling to me.

Have a great weekend and thanks for our Friday post....a MUST.
