Good Morning All,
The good news is we are headed for another great signing day.
It was just two years ago we had the Da’Rick Rogers bust.
Funny how things work out that we now have a solid group of receivers to more that fill the gap for not signing Rogers.
CMR & CTG have done an excellent job of sealing the state borders and keeping the talent from going elsewhere.
Add to this how well we have done pulling players from the surrounding states is a key factor in building our quality position depth.
Time to move on from our bowl loss.
Our coaching staff remains as is, this upsets a sector of our blog but it is what it is.
I have heard from several local sources that while the coaches remain the same much like we saw with the installation of the no-huddle offense other changes will be forth coming.
Shortly after our last FG was blocked Mac made a telling statement.
Win or lose the MSU game would not fix our (sorry) running game.
Me thinks that this will be front burner material when Mac and CMR have their sitdowns.
I would venture that Mac is less that impressed with CMB and the play calling.
We need to take advantage of our schedule and use it to get our young RB and OL some experience.
With that in mine I am happy that USC is later in the season, however that early trip to play Mizzo looms big.
Buc, I sincerely hope you are doing well. Our ship needs it’s rudder back!
On to signing day!
Pause and give thanks
Have a great weekend and a safe week
As always “Go Dawgs”
