Chem, what is worse I am afraid is we will still be having these same thoughts and conversations. Richt will still be a fine Christian man, Bobo will still be referred to as BoZo and ALLDAWG5 and Mike Honcho will still be talking about how good a coach Richt is.


The only way we the east again is somehow our defense morphs into Bama's 2011 defense. (which is possible, but not likely.)

UGAChemDawg, seems that we are always a day late or a dollar short. Mark Richt is hard headed and I mean that in the worst possible way to describe him. Mark Richt making a point of saying that he is keeping everyone on his staff. Appears to me that President Adams has his backside covered.

First off, Coach Grantham selected those that he wanted to help "bring UGA out of the darkness that WM/MR put us in". Worked for UGA and Coach Grantham. Mark Richt could not build the defensive side with his college buddy.

Speaking for myself of course . . . . said at the beginning of the 2011 season that if all things seemed to stay constant, would never, ever move off of center again. Nothing in 2011 made me believe that we had made huge strides. Mark Richt, Michael Adams can live with 10 wins. Folks that live on the West side of the Chattahoochee, believe in going all the way.

Mark Richt is not a leader, he is a front room recruiter. Folks like duck, kentdaddy, sadlerdawg, averagedawg and others have said . . . . "we ate the appetizer, when will we get to the main course"?

That departure certainly flew under the radar. I had to Google it to see what happened to him because I don't recall hearing anything about him leaving. How does one leave a job as one of the hottest offensive coordinators in the country at Auburn to go become head coach of Arkansas State? Something's wrong with that picture. Wonder when that scandal is going to break? Certainly great for the Dawgs though. Malzhan running the offense with Van Gorder on the other side of the football could well have been a dynasty in the making on the plains.
