TN Dawg, I am on board with that statement. There was some scuttlebutt in Central Florida about AM working hard on Orson to return next season.
Allow me this . . . with the schedule we have next season, Orson could really put up some huge numbers and I know for sure that AM would help him with that.
If Bobo were to use his head, he would put Orson in the slot. Sure puts a huge load on the linebackers, frees up a lot of space if the opposition is forced to play man. We have some wideouts that would love that.
Along with that statement, we have the top tightend in the nation (high school 2010) when he signed on with us. Jay Rome, 6'6" probably 255/260 now and great hands.
The offensive coaches have no place to hide this coming season, talent is there, as it has been for years. Offensive line will be better in my opinion as the season progresses. At that point should be ready for South Carolina. However, Missouri still has my undivided attention.
Orson Charles being back in Athens, tells me that he is having a serious chat with the offensive heads. We tell some recruits that they have a chance to start in their freshmen season (IC). I would pretty much have my ears open and mouth shut when it comes to having OC back. Does not need AM to tell him where to line up on almost every play. Bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
