Holin' Dawgs

The NCAA Men's golf championships are underway, so break out your red-and-white checked pants and your black polo shirts and root for your Dawgs, the #1 men's golf team in the country! At the start of the second day of play, Georgia is seven strokes off the lead. LET'S GO GET THAT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP DAWGS!!!! SIC 'EM!!!!

In the spirit of golf, I'll give tiny little golf claps instead of barking.

They will pull it out. CH has established a great golf program at UGA. The cream will rise to the top before the tournament is over.

Dawgs currently tied for 16th. Georgia State making a good showing tied for 11th.

Tied for 16th??? Yikes !!! They had better get it in gear.

According to georgiadogs.com, Georgia had a FANTASTIC day yesterday and we pulled ourselves from 16th place into 5th, 12 strokes off the lead (Stanford). If we have another great round today -- and if Stanford slips a bit -- we still have a shot at this thing.

With one round to play Dawgs at sitting at #2, 12 shots in back of leader Stanford. It would require a bit of a Stanford melt down, but it is definitely doable.
