Don't Check the Baseball Scores..

Okay, so there's no way we can be invited to the SEC Baseball Tournament. We've had too bad a year. We know that. But what better way to end the season than by taking our final series from one of the nation's best, SCarolina, in Columbia?

So the series is tied, 1-1, and I tune into Fox Sports and the game is on and Georgia's winning 7-0. FANTASTIC!!! Going into the 6th inning, we're winning 13-2. FANTASTIC!!!

The Cocks score 5 in the 6th and 9 in the 8th and beat us, 14-13. Man, if that isn't a microcosm of the whole year...

This, of course, means that next year we'll be one of the final four teams in the CWS. But damn, is that embarrassing!

........you would like to think we wouldnt suck that bad at any sport. How can you not protect an 11 run lead!?!?!

The hell of it is that we DON'T suck at baseball...it's just that every other year we fail to maximize our talent...in fact, we minimize it. Basically, next year you can guarantee we'll go to the CWS. The thing I feel worst about is that we did this during Jonathan Wyatt's senior season...
