I certainly hope so...

His entitlement attitude is aweful. you must earn everything in life...

The sooner he learns that, the better. The best thing that may happen to him, is getting kicked off of the team.

stanger, this group of Bulldogs played lights out when I consider the more serious problem I think we have at this point. Lack of DEPTH.

The recruiting on the offensive line has for far too long been a wait until we get our prized running backs and other so called skilled positions.

Anyone that reads this board regularly knows that the hair rises on the back of my neck and a couple of others that post here when the offensive and defensive lines are not referred to as skilled positions.

Their skills and guts allow the "pretty boys" to do what they do. One thing that I have noticed about AM everytime, or almost everytime he comes off of the field, whether good play or whatever, goes directly to his offensive line and says in effect thank you. Have witnessed him doing the same thing with the defensive line. Young man is a leader, just needs . . . . DEPTH.

Notice again most of the "noise" is about running backs out of North Carolina. I hope that happens on two of those that appear ready to play SEC football.

However, if there is a O or D lineman out there that has not yet left our state to play in Alabama or Florida, please spend as much time with them as the "pretty boys". Notice that Richt was in North Carolina Sunday night. I understand that, I also understand football starts in the trences.

Many in this country are squawking about Alabama and LSU getting it on again. Those folks would do well to understand what Saban and Miles understand. It starts in the pits. The reason that another MNC is coming to the SEC is because both understand the need for offensive and defensive linemen.

Know that there is some talk about IC and not making the grades. At this point, why would that surprise anyone, doesn't seem to want to put full effort into anything.

Good.

I'm thinking about hosting a party to celebrate this fact if it's true.

On the island??:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Mayor wlayton, if it is alright with the island counsel, I'd like to propose a "Castaway Party" on the Island at the end of every season to celebrate/encourage the purging of the Crowells/Kings/Ealeys of the year.

Agree with all that getting Marshall would be great, BUT I also remember everyone screaming how great it would be to get IC about this time last year. Now from everything I've heard/read, assuming we get him, we should NOT have the same issues that we're seeing from IC, but until he takes that first SEC hit, he's still an unproven commodity.

What do I REALLY want for Christmas? I want McClendon to earn that $200k salary and REALLY work Samuel and Malcome over the off-season and come back in a position next season to not HAVE to depend on our incoming "NHW"...(for those of you who love the use of initials, that's my way of saying Next Herschel Walker.)

People should want to see the top 2 teams in the nation play for the NC.

In my humble opinion... that's what they are getting.

Sorry to the OK state crowd, you can't compare losing to LSU by 3 when your kicker hits everything
in the stadium except for the space between the uprights to losing to Iowa State. Get over it.
Two best teams are playing for the NC.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Ok MH....how about an official "Castaway Celebrate and Purge Party" (thought I would expand your great idea sir).

Btw...heard Marshall has a 4.1 GPA and heard good kid as well.

Love Samuel and unsure about KM (he's been in the doghouse most of the year) but Samuel isn't a great RB, imo (love him for the uf game though)....not so sure KM is either. Get those 2 NC kids and put RS back at LB.

Castaway Celebrate and Purge Party...I like it!

And I hear ya on Samuel and Malcome, but that's kind of my point. We don't need them to be all SEC...we just need a running back or two who are north of 200 lbs to be a "servicable" power option until Marshall, or whoever can step up. I'm not taking anything away from the fact that Crowell is a soft, immature, unprepared young man BUT he's also a testament to what NORMALLY happens (Lattimore being the most recent exception) when you lean on a true freshman as your feature back. We just need a few big bodies that can move the pile two and three yards to spell our true playmaker in the backfield every once in a while. I know it was against a tired defense in "garbage time" but Malcome at least showed that he's willing to run hard, get back in the huddle, line up, and do it again. THAT'S what we need out of him and Samuel next year.
