From Athens- Game Day Friday-Lucky # 13

Good Morning All,

I was half-heartedly watching Game Day before kickoff with the Nerds,

About 11:30 Georgia starting growling at the TV.

The heads had just picked Tech to win, as we would be overlooking the Nats.

Pollack just looked at Corso and grinned.

Went and got Georgia a treat told her let’s go watch us crush some Bugs.

This game was about how this team has improved this year.

Talk about making adjustments at halftime CTG dialed up his “D” another notch. Impressive. Well-done Dawgs!

I heard from several sources that CMR gave CMB the green light to keep up the passing game until GT showed they could stop it.

Four passing TD’s later they still hadn’t!

Seems even CMB has also made improvements.

As many on the board have said the next two games will give a clear idea as how far we have come from the first two games we played this season.

Spending time with Georgia on our nightly walks I asked how she sees this game.

Her words were, without question we have the talent to win playing on both sides of the line.

Take care of the ball-no turnovers and ST’s don’t give points.

Stay away from injuries.

CTG’s defense won’t back down from anyone, Jenkins and KG are stout and JJ has come on stronger each game.

Hurry Jefferson all game, as CTG says make it very unpleasant for him.

Have LSU wear Auburn uniforms!

CLM has a winning record against all SEC coaches except CMR.

How weird would it be if we win by a BW-FG with no time left?

Let’s do it again! Back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back wins.

Be fine to win ugly….. Just win baby!

Kickoff at 4 means a late night of fun on the island!

Win or lose getting to the SECCG was a very important for our program going forward.

I have every reason to believe that the improvements we saw this season will continue to grow going forward to next year and beyond.

This group of Dawgs are not one song cowboys!!

I have to agree with you 100%, this team has turned out to be stronger game after game. Imagine this team with a good, healthy, play every game running back. I'd like to see a miracle from IC this Saturday, at least show up and play. GATA!!!

That just amuses the heck out of me. Anyone that thinks we ever overlook the insects
needs to have their credentials checked, because they don't know much about college FB.

That's like saying 'Bama will lose to Abuurn because they are going to be looking
past them... but that just doesn't happen under any circumstances.

If someone wanted to pick Tech over UGA, they need to be basing it on something
other than UGA looking past them.

Good morning yd1, refreshing as always......and right on cue.

The SECCG is "gravy", imo, hope we win but after our start, am glad to be in the game and shows huge potential for next the few years.

The island will be set up royally for a big celebration party yd1, look forward to partying into the morning hours.

I hope the UGA football team doesn't go into the SECCG thinking they are just happy to be

Me too, didn't mean it that way. You don't know my competitiveness yet. I expect the Dawgs to win every game....in my life of sports, I also expected to win any and everything I participated in.

I certainly think we can win the game and will be throwing things as usual if we don't. At the end of the day though, I think we are all pretty pleased with this year and looking really forward to next year.
