Man, ogredawg.......you must have been too young to remember 1980-81-82 when we won sooooooo many games ugly. Let's see, that was one NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP and 3 straight SEC CHAMPIONSHIPS.....all won ugly....real ugly......would have hated to see your griping then and try to JUSTIFY it.

Listen man, this team ain't perfect but the fact is, they are playing as a team. When one of the 3 phases is playing bad, another phase has a great game. Look at how we blasted Walsh all season and he won the game for us today, etc....face it, our "achilles heel" is at RB, it will get corrected by next year, until then the coaches are having to play one legged at times.

After the first 2 games, if I had guaranteed you we would win the SEC East but it may not be pretty, you would have jumped all over it.......ENJOY it.

Look around college football, there are upsets going on everywhere....uh, OSU losing last night to Iowa ST????? Come on!!!! BSU losing the week before.

Bottom line.....get the freakin win ANYWAY you can nowadays!!!

Yeah, it wasn't pretty but WHO didn't see that coming. I'll take a one point win every week because its a WIN. 9 wins in a row, kids, that's what just happened. Sure, we'd all love to have them all as blow outs but this is the SEC dammit, and you take em how you get em. Last time I checked, there were no asterix's next to wins that were ugly. I'm proud of these Dawgs and the season they put together. As a Dawg fan, I'm able to hold my head high for an entire year now.

As an aside...anybody NOT think Jarvis Jones is an ANIMAL????? Man, I'd hate to be on the opposite side of the ball to that guy.

I am going to be 55 in Feb. and yes I do remember and watched a lot of ugly games....and our achilles heel is RB and OC......we are 7-1 in SEC play and all the wins but one were ugly.....and back in the day most wins were low scoring ugly defensive wins.....Dooley was not known as an offensive genius.....Herschel made him and Belue look like one tho....remember UGA/FL. 1982 I think when Herschel and the Dawgs beat the gaytors 44-0.....now that was ugly for sure :laugh: .....just tired of every week on this board saying it was an ugly win but I will take it.....what about the 2 ugly losses and they were ugly......playing as a team means playing a COMPLETE GAME on BOTH sides of the ball......I do not really blame the players but Bobo has got to go go and this offensive performance proves it.....he did not have them ready to play......
