averagedawg, always hate it when a former UGA football player or UGA related person coaches for another SEC school. Outside of the conference, love it.

Tennessee is a lot like Alabama in that the stadiums will always be full. That is and has always been a recruiting tool for UT. Game is speeding up and recruiting is not what it was just a few short years ago.

There have been a couple of comments on this board about the war like atmosphere in the State of Alabama between Auburn and Alabama.

That same feeling exists between Tennessee and Alabama, not on the same scale, but close enough. Phat Phil ended his coaching career by getting involved with some things that happened in recruiting and outside aid and help. Sometimes it is better to keep ones mouth shut.

Kiffin came in and made a big splash, had every team and team supporter in the SEC screaming about his tactics. Chizik and Franklin have followed suit, looking at the short run rather than program building. Will bite you in the butt every time. Both will end up either working elsewhere or in a different line of work.

Said it more than one time on this board and will say it many more. Looking forward to Franklin showing his face in Sanford Stadium next season. He is without a doubt a scumbag for his insults pointed at West Point. Bad on his butt. Never served a day and reaps the benefits. Sure hope that Kwame starts head up on that chop block center.

Do feel that Derek Dooley made a huge mistake taking that job. With you, hope that Tennessee kicks Franklins butt. Don't really see it as Vanderbilt, see it as scumbag Franklin.

Another big reason CTG isn't going anywhere soon at least. He still has a bone to pick with Franklin. He'll have the D fired up and ready to light up Vandy and the cheap shot artist for a center. It's unfortunate for that kid as he is only a sophomore and has two more times at lining up against CTG and his Junkyard Dawgs.

Heard Franklin on the radio a couple of weeks ago joking about the whole mishap at the end of the GA game. Laughed it off and said that he and Grantham are actually close friends and planned the charade to get attention.

Sounds like a wanna be bully realizing he bit off more than he can chew.

DawgnLA, the last line of your post is so right . . . . so right. Franklin made a huge mistake when he tried to copy Kiffin, Chizik, thinking that would take him to the promised land. Anyone that says what he said about the young cadets at West Point should not be allowed to walk the sidelines . . . . not allowed on this board or any other board. Old as I am, would love to plant one in his mouth. Maybe twice. Forgot, that is kentdaddy and Limey's job to provide the muscle.

DawgnLA, averagedawg's wife is closely tied to the VA in Tennessee. They know. I spend a lot of time in the VA facilities because that is how it is. Have said this before . . . . those on the sielines in civilian life need/should spend one (1) day at a Veteran Facility, some give a lot, some give nothing. That is not intended to be an ugly statement, just the way it is.

Idiots do not need to make statements. FRANKLIN. IDIOT.
