One Stat...

...says it all. Auburn held the ball for 19:55. Georgia held possession for a whopping 40:55. This was, make no mistake, the most dominating victory Georgia had all year. That includes Coastal Carolina and New Mexico State.

Anyone remember what Va. Tech did last year? Just saying....

It's worth pointing out that the last two teams that Boise State beat in their season opener (Oregon in '09 and Virginia Tech in '10) went on to win their respective conferences and the BCS bowl that followed. Perhaps Georgia will continue that trend.

Va. Tech got killed by Stanford in their bowl last year. Oregon lost their bowl game after the 2009 season to Ohio State.................just to be factually correct.

Oops. Don't know why I thought they won their bowls. Won their conference championships and then lost their bcs bowl. Maybe the Boise State "reverse curse" isn't so much a good omen afterall. I'll take the SEC title though.

If we beat an undefeated LSU in Atlanta, it will not be the biggest upset in college football history, but it will be the biggest upset in a conference championship game since those have been being played.

We were takling about VA Tech as we walked out of stadium.
