Monday Back to the real world

Good Morning All,

Monday morning and back to the real work world. Hated to leave the island but...job is on the mainland.

The following I took from the AJC Sunday Sports page. AJC is not one of my favorite places however I am going to check with Mayor wlayton.

This may make a great billboard as you drive on to the island:

"The schedule has favored Georgia. It’s impossible to imagine a softer SEC road than one that doesn’t include games against LSU, Alabama or Arkansas. But them’s the breaks. You can only play the teams on your schedule, and you can only beat the teams you play. Since Sept. 10, Georgia has beaten everybody. No, not always convincingly, but margin of victory isn’t a requirement, either."

I thought I was the head of the Chamber of Commerce trying to get more "industry" to the island.

Your billboard idea couldn't be more perfect for our Island of Paradise.......just hope it's not the "kiss of death".....gotta beat AU and UK, then the island may become more populated, huh yd1?? If we get to Atlanta, we may need a referendum for increasing the population of the island....could get more "tax revenue" I guess.:woohoo: :woohoo:

Love the new tax idea more money for the beer budget!

The good news we don't have anything that can catch fire on the island so Fire Chief will stay vacant and no expense for equipment. More money for the food & brew fund!

No question after we beat AU & KU and thump the Nerds that we will have to add a second bridge from the mainland to island.

I am think a section of highway that runs along the beach needs to be named AllDawg Expressway.
