Good Morning All,

It has been a very special week here in Athens. The smiles around town after we beat down UF are nothing short of amazing!

Yes we have yet to beat a ranked team but damn it was a “W” over the much-hated Urange. Love it!

I had to move my beach chair twice during the first half.

Many of the island residents felt it was time to bail and get to the mainland to avoid the pending disaster.

Oh ye of little faith!

However I must admit that as Georgia and I took our halftime backyard break I had some misgivings toward the second half.

She repeated to me what she said in last Friday’s thread.

Put the game in CTG’s hands.

In the Second Half. Florida had:

One first down
Scored 3 points – after another ST’s error on our part.
32yds total offense
We missed getting a safety on them by a whisker

This is about as close a shut down “D” that has come out of Athens in many years!

Russ is one “Junkyard Dawg” forget UGAVIII until next year. This season belongs to the brown ear. Truly a DGD!

Buc,I am with you on leaving CWF alone. He can coach!

Saturday’s win will pay huge dividends in recruiting. Dream Team “2”

I learned after the USC game that we would have to look at this year’s team differently.

Anyone remember the “69” baseball Mets?

You needed to eat a roll of Tums before the game starts and hang on for the ride!

I don’t think any team in the SEC East will have a better “D” than we do in 2012?

Erk has a smirk now, it will turn to a full grin very soon.

I said it last year Sanford will become “CTG’s House of Pain”.

Wlayton- Good news everyone made it back to the island safely and enjoyed howling and barking at the moon Saturday night, myself included. We might have added a few, not much room on the beach.

Time to roll the bones again, Back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back wins.

With respect to Al Davis-“Just Win Baby”

Glad to see the “Bag” is off –Thriller!

Buc, The horse drawn carriage and the drama are back home.

This week’s game is like CC-play a bunch of folks, no injuries and then get ready for Assburn.

To all the Dawgs in Fla. enjoy the next 51 weeks. We need to plan another Gator beat down in 2012! Make it two in a row!

Many on the board wanted to see improvement, we have three times over on the defensive side of the ball.

We are lacking in other areas for sure, I feel they will be addressed at seasons end.

Mac has a plan and is taking steps to implement it behind the scene. Let the process work.

I am sorry for those who can’t or won’t enjoy the Dawgs winning because of a whole host of reasons many voiced here. It’s your dime your choice.

Many times it is easier to find fault than favor.

This is a young bunch of pups that don’t quit. Might not be against rank teams but we are trending upward.

As I said after the CW’s DUI it is my hope and prayers that IC takes hold of his life and future.

He is gifted and would be a huge waste if his off field problems kept him from being successful on the field.

It has been a real fun week to be a Dawg! Yes even with the suspensions.

Pause and give thanks – we are truly blessed.

Have a safe weekend and a great week.

As always “Go Dawgs”

Go Dawgs!

As always you hit all the points. Very good week to be a Dawg regardless of what others think or say. Now we need to take care of the Aggies. Have an injury free game and get our heads right for AU. That will be a war, but first things first. Go Dogs!

yankeedawg1, there are a lot of long faces down this way. However, many of the gator faithful and friends of mine agree that this group of Dawgs will get after you. Most are really impressed with Grantham's changes on the D side. Hard not to notice, he expects results, not excuses. Yes, you are right yd1, very Erk like.

Will watch the game on Saturday in the "Noon Slot" hoping to see some variations in certain areas. Huge game in the "Prime Time Slot" . . . . Folks down this way are buzzing about the success of both teams. Muschamp has his work cut out, his main theme after the licking, "we don't have the personnel to run the power game". Grantham will remind him of that again next year in JAX.

Weis, jury still out on Charlie. Seems to travel to a lot of different locations the past few years. Pro Style Offense, attracts many recruits, he will probably fix that shortly, or the gator nation will be on him like a UGA coach that we know.

Great win over Florida . . . Great post Brother! :)
