Yeah, I remember Redman as being pretty decent but Harrington, while being in the league for a while, isn't very good at all. If they are keeping Vick as their starter then it makes sense to me to have DJ as his backup because the offensive game plan wouldn't change very much if Vick got hurt. They play with similar styles except I think DJ throws the ball much better but Vick runs stronger and is faster (which as I stated before, believe a running QB hurts a team in the NFL). Guess I'm a little old school in that I feel in the NFL you need a QB that stays in the pocket but \"can\" move or \"buy some time\" if need be.

Back on topic, I'm a little surprised at some of the Dawgs who didn't get drafted. Danny Ware was no shock to me (sorry, Danny, but you really should have transferred to a 1-A or D2 school where you could have shown what you could do) but Nick Jones? Tra Battle? These are Dawgs who really really stepped it up last year. Nick Jones was the heart and soul not just of the offensive line, but of the offense itself and the whole team, according to most other Dawgs. There were others who didn't get their names called (Gordon Ely-Kelso, Danny Verdun-Wheeler), but I thought that Jones and Battle deserve to play at the next level. And while I support nearly all Dawgs in their professional exploits (sorry, Quincy, you don't get my love), I don't understand Shackleford getting drafted but Nick Jones staying home. Nick was, after all, the only offensive lineman with a touchdown for the Dawgs (he recovered a David Greene fumble in the end zone against Kentucky in '04...six of the sixty-two we put on the Wildcats that day).
What do you all think? Who do you think was overlooked?

I was verry surprised Tony Taylor wasnt drafted.. He was clearly a standout his senior yeah..
So it looks like its this
Charles Johnson - Carolina Panthers
Quentin Moses - Oakland Raiders
Kendrick Shackleford -
Martrez Milner - Atlanta Falcons
And then ive just heard Nick Jones signed with the Seattle Seahawks
.. Please update this if you find out if an Bulldogs undrafted player gets picked up somewhere..

I believe Tony could have been drafted as well as Nick Jones (they both will find a team) and Ely Kelso may punt one day in the NFL but he's not good enough to waste a draft pick on him and as much as I like Tra Battle and his guts, he's too small and not nearly as physical as the other safeties that were drafted. I was also surprised that Moses went before Charles Johnson. Didn't think Moses had a good year last year and many analysts thought he was playing \"not to get hurt\".

According to 11Alive News in Atlanta:
Danny Ware and Jarvis Jackson signed with the Tennessee Titans.
Danny Verdun-Wheeler signed with the Chicago Bears
Nick Jones signed with the Seattle Seahawks
Tra Battle signed with the San Diego Chargers
Tony Taylor and Gordon Ely-Kelso signed with the Atlanta Falcons
Meanwhile, our very favorite QB in all of Dixie, Reggie Ball, has been invited to Lions camp up in Detroit. However, he will not be throwing passes to Calvin Johnson up there; he's been invited as a returner/receiver. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
I can still hear the chants as time wound down in Sanford Stadium on a 15-12 Georgia victory: \"REGGIE! REGGIE! REGGIE!\"
