Can we do anything right?

While you guys are talking about Hawg drama, we have some drama of our own. Akeem Hebron was arrested AGAIN for underage possession of alcohol..... He had his chance the first time, I say we suspend him for atleast the first 8 games.

dawg511, could not agree more. Do not believe that MR will do anything less than that. We have all made mistakes in school, and other places. However, we were penalized for our mistakes, same applies here. Might get this young fellows attention and really help him down the road. Athletes, both professional and college, even high school need to be reminded that sometimes there are penalties. Should not say this but . . . look at all of the messes that Vick keeps getting involved in, whether his fault or not. Hope that this really good football player learns a lesson that MR is fixing to impose on him.

Yeah, they definitely need to suspend him and get him some help. If he enjoys alcohol that much, he's not going to be much good to the team without some guidance.

Does HCMR have any history of how he has handled players with similar offenses? What has happened in the past?

RxDawgboy, MR suspended Ian Smith for 6 games but his violations weren't in the same semister. See my post on Hebron for the rest. BTW, glad to see you back posting and hope you and your co-workers are doing well considering the events ya'll have witnessed recently.

FYI... the general consensus on the Oklahoma State boards is that the Stafford sitch should be handled internally with the punishment involving stadium steps and buckets of sweat, but that he shouldn't miss any playing time... although no one will cry foul if he is suspended for the first game...
