Two More Hurdles

The Gym Dawgs edged Florida with a 197.700 score at the NCAA championships to advance to the Super Six. What does this mean? Well, for non-gym folk like myself (I had to look it up), it means that we get a bye in the finals to rest up. The other five teams are Utah(hosting), Stanford, Nebraska, UCLA, and Florida. I am SO sick of Florida suddenly dominating sports they have no business dominating. Georgia, Utah, UCLA...these are power schools in women's gymnastics. Florida? Until this year, they hadn't even won an SEC title since 1989. So let's keep up the good work and send a loud, loud GOOOOO DAWGS!!! out towards the Great Salt Lake to help our Ladies bring home what already belongs to them.

Also, Courtney Kupets (little sister of Georgia standout Ashley) won the All-Around individual NC for the second straight year. Damn Good Dawg!

Hey dapolla, did you see the NC finals last year when the Lady Gym Dawgs came through in the final 2 events to win the title? I saw it on TV and man were those girls CLUTCH in the final events to take it all, they were great. I believe the last 2 events were the balance beam and the vault, they nailed them both to win.
