Biggest NFL bust this season

Biggest NFL bust this season was created by UnderDog37
Who will it be? B. Quinn, J. Russell, Troy Smith, Ted Ginn.......Anyone wanna make a wager that JaMarcus Russell isn't mentally tough enough for the NFL? We saw him cave in to pressure in big games more than once in this conference.

Im going to go out on a limb and say Brady Quinn does well. Something about JaMarcus and Troy just doesn't fit with me.

I agree dawgs511. I think Jamarcus and Troy are well suited for a college type offense, but I think Brady is much better suited for a pro style.

UnderDog37, I totally agree that Russell isn't mentally tough enough for the pro's but his physical talents will help him maybe \"get by\". I definitely don't think he's a #1 pick. Now to answer your question.....I think the BIGGEST BUST will be Troy Smith, to me his game isn't suited for the NFL.

wlayton, to me troy isn't even suited for college unless he's playing northern teams. should have retired after high school and tried something else.

The biggest draft bust this year will again be Quincy Carter.

Sorry. Bitterness. So much potential, so many losses to Tech.

Honestly, I'm going to go a different route. Given the propensity of Mel \"I'm responsible for the ozone hole\" Kiper to pick an O-lineman 2nd, and the inability to perform of, say, Robert Gallery and D'Brickashaw Ferguson among others, I'm going with Joe Thomas out of Wisconsin. Big draft bust.

I don't think Troy Smith is an accurate choice as a \"bust\" because Troy Smith isn't going anywhere until Day Two. He absolutely sabotaged himself at the combine.

But if you want a more mainstream opinion, I'm going with Adrian Peterson. That kid WILL not stay healthy at the big-time level. Come on; if you break your collarbone diving into the endzone to celebrate a touchdown, there's no way you're going to stay healthy going up against the Ravens or Panthers D.
