Um, Gentlemen...

buc with you...

i don't even want IC and RS to play in this game. get them fresh for the 9th inning, so to speak. let boo malcomb get 15 carries, thomas get 15 and anyone else.

AU scares me, but like it was said, Ben Jones can motivate the offense, and i believe a certain Mr. Grantham has the sack to inform our d line that it may be poayback time for what Fairley did last year.

We SHOULD win a hard fought battle--all things equal, i like the more experienced QB playing at home.

BulldogShannon, I feel a bit better about facing Auburn for this reason. And you made a good point about experience at quarterback.

Our defense negated the gator's outside speed, from the line of scrimmage. If we take the outside away from Auburn, might be a fantastic day between the Hedges. They do have one super strong running back with speed that will take it inside.

Grantham's defense grew by leaps and bounds in JAX. They were moving about on defense like I have not seen them do before. As the "4 sack man" said, we all understand the way Grantham and the other coaches want us to play. Words being used, fast and smart. Saw a lot of that in the second half, first half also.

Last season they improved some over WM's way of playing the game. This year, looking pretty awesome on the D. Ogletree was just a step or two off from being incredible. That will happen. :)

I want to warn everyone.. not even close yet. I am not talking about what SC does or does not do, but instead
talking about us....

Next step is Auburn, and then after that it's those boys in
the pretty blue uniforms.

Don't y'all go thinkin' for one darn second that either of
those games are already in our pockets, because this
team's not good enough to take anyone lightly.

Could not agree more! As we were leaving hotel in St Simons, saw an older Bulldog gentleman drinking coffee and reading sports page. I said, "It will be a more enjoyable ride home this year".
"Yes it will", he replied.
"I just hope we don't have a let-down against Auburn", I responded
He just looked up and said, "Son, I don't think we are good enough to have a let-down".

Brought me back to reality.

I to have hear the same crap about the SEC title game, some assume USC has already lost to Ark, and we have won the Auburn and KY games. I'm sure it was us advertisement, but gadogs.com was advertising that bosters get first choice to the SEC championship game and bowl tickets. I thought well gees, sure is alittle premature to talk this crap. I am all for the players having confidence and thinking they can go undefeated the rest of the way, but the fans and sports personnel sure do not need to be talking as if it is a done deal.

Think back a month or so to the Atlanta Braves. They wish that they had kept a closed mouth about the playoff tickets and how it was all sewn up. I dont feel the same passion for the Braves as I do the Bulldogs ,and, this is SEC football anything can happen. GO DAWGS!!!!!!! GATA! NOW SIC 'EM

Yes they sure did, that 8 game lead sure went away quickly. Just goes to show you anything can happen, heck in this day and time, Ky could upset us, you just never know.
