How do you think this massacre will affect Hokie football next season? They are obviously going to be the sentimental favorite, and tragedies like this have a way of catalyzing teams and briging them together. Columbine won the Colorado state football championship the year after the shooting there. I wonder if this will cause VT football to be better than it would have been. They're my pick to win the ACC and a legit choice for the BCS title game. I just hope that if the Dawgs make it to the championship game, it isn't against Virginia Tech because the entire country will be pulling for them, and if we beat them, we will be hated in the hearts and minds of everyone except Dawg fans, and we'll be forever known as the team that screwed things up for America's Team. In the annals of college football history, instead of the Stafford era at Georgia being talked about as one of the greatest dynasties of all time, it will forever be tainted and villified.

VT is good every year and '07 will be no different. I, too will sentimentally be pulling for them this year. Don't believe they will be good enough for a NC appearance but certainly wish them the best.

Agreed. They wont be a NC team though, and next year I dont think we will either. But 08 is our year!

I've been really busy with baseball. Its really kicking up with 4-5 days a week. Im actually about to leave for a tournament in Cobb county for the whole weekend, but will kick it back into gear when I get back
