I don't know if I missed any discussions on here about IC and the Vandy game but I did see this in the Augusta Chronicle this morning. Anyone know about this or hear any rumors?

GEORGIA: After Tuesday’s practice, Georgia tailback Isaiah Crowell did not offer a reason for why he was suspended for the first quarter of Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt.

“I think Coach (Mark) Richt should answer that question, I don’t really know,” Crowell said.

Richt said after the game that he did not play Crowell in the first quarter as “a coach’s decision” and later said that it was related to an off-field issue.

A sportswriter in the Macon Telegraph said that Mark Richt was asked about not using Crowell in the first quarter and he answered back, because I love him, if that is so then I have lost all confidence I had in Mark Richt to lead this team. As you all know I usually keep my mouth shut about CMR and I am willing to give anyone their just due, but, enough is enough. Its okay to love someone, but really, really, you 've got to give us more than that, its FOOTBALL,understand FOOTBALL Richt. You're not in charge of the nursery at Sunday School, these men are old enough not to be coddled and pampered. Get with the program and start coaching or get out. Sorry folks but I had to get that out. GO DAWGS!!!!!!

growl, it appears that sooner or later many just can't accept the direction that UGA football is heading. As with any money making company, don't want to see the vaults emptied. Football is the revenue source for UGA. Listening Adams?

He made that comment running off the field at halftime to the TV reporter when she stopped him. Geez, give the guy a break, he didn't have time to explain, he was headed to the locker room for halftime for crying out loud. I heard him make the comment and it was more of a smile, a wink and joking around with a quick answer so he could get rid of her and get to the locker room. No big freakin deal on THAT one.
