Things just got really simple today...

The road to the SEC east runs through Jacksonville.

Florida now has 3 SEC losses, so they are out.

There is NO WAY South Carolina is going to beat Arkansas, so they definitely have at least one more SEC loss coming.

All we have to do is take advantage of the bye weekend coming up, beat UF, and we're sitting pretty.

It's pretty straight forward the way I see it at this point: win the east, Richt stays, don't win the east, he takes a hike.

Seeing what Virginia did to GT today, if we win in Jacksonville on the 29th, we should be able to run the table headed into Atlanta.

UGAChemDawg, I don't know what game you were watching or listening to, but I'm not so sure about that. We just made Vandy look like a top 10 team. Florida is NOT to be taken for granted. Auburn will most likely kick us down the road. At this point, Kentucky is looking TOUGH!

BTW, all South Carolina has to do is lose only one game, to Arkansas. We lose ANY SEC games from here out and guess who wins the tie breaker - head to head, I'm afraid.

After tonight, I'm not too anxious to see us in Atlanta anyway. LSU or Bama would slobberknock us all over the northern half of the state.

we barely beat Vandy and after the way we played tonite we will be lucky to win any we have left....beat UF we got a 50-50 chance if Brantley does not play and if he does play it will be another long day in Jax......

UF is a disaster right now so they can be beaten easily.

Brantley is a head case and other than Demps there is little to fear unless you are a hot, single woman and then Rainey is a killer.

It does not matter how terrible UF is, they have a curse over us. Our players do not think we can beat them. We could have the no 1 team in America, and still lose to UF. I don't know what it will take to break this jinx, but from what I have seen from UGA this year, it will not be this year, I don't care how bad UF is.

kentdaddy, that was a good laugh after watching tonights game. You know its bad when even the fans of a team believe there is a curse...lol
