Vanderbilt has other programs in sports that do very well. We know they play basketball/baseball and other sports with the best that this conference has to offer.
I would not take this football team lightly. They will be ready to play on Saturday night.
Lots of potential college football players will be there for this game, personally, hope that this new leader can sign some of these young men. Not a damn thing wrong with playing football and getting a quality education.
Think Franklin is his name, head coach, if not, someone on this board will correct me. Like what he is doing and hope it works out for him, the players and the university.
Said before, they will come to play.
Go Dawgs . . . don't messsyy up!

right now. Knowing our situation with our other backs, I still want to know exactly why Boo hasn't seen some time. Any rumors on that one?
Oh and Nashville is a nice place, Buc. I would love to
see a consistently decent program up there. Something
like 7-4 type seasons as long as they're just owned by
UGA.

Out of all the other SEC schools, I despise them the least. lol

Rome is playing basketball this year. I think that is good. After reading several articles today and yesterday about his reasoning, really made me feel good. Rome (reportedly) was a bit down not playing and suiting up for Tennessee. Understandable. He could have played for any number of D1 colleges if he had chosen them. Not only play, would have started. Speaks volumes for Rome's character and maturity. Also, playing basketball, will keep this young man in top shape, Coach Fox is not a . . . . pushover. Think he is a bit like Grantham . . . demands excellence.
Rome comes back next season, has some serious frosh that want to put their cleats in the turf on the offensive line. Truly makes sense to me. Bring me up to date on Rome and ready for this, Conley if you have any information.
Knowing his Dad Stan.......bowled with him for several years before moving from Valdosta.....he had a long talk with Jay about commitment and team......no worries the young man will have a great career as a Dawg and one we might see playing on Sunday.....
